Are you feeling nervous, anxious, depressed and uneasy? Do your work and peers make you feel like breaking down to tears? Add factors like thirst, heavy sweating, pain and the feeling that your heart wants to jump out of your chest and it’s definitely Anxiety accompanied by stress. Many things can contribute to the feeling stress; this involves work and all you have to put up with for the day.

What makes anyone more anxious than a death threat or certain doom or trouble? If you’re feeling anxious because you forgot to do something due the next day, you have a really big bill to pay or your dying of a terrible disease with no cure, then this is not the article that helps you cure or solve any that. But it does help in preventing them somehow.

Be friendly, learn to be flexible, you have to remember that when someone offends you, it means nothing unless you make something of it. Do not set something aside for some other time if you can do it the very moment it’s given to you, you’ll have plenty of time to relax after your job has been accomplished. Do not get yourself into situations that will one day get you in a horrible situation, living is not being careless, it’s having a lifestyle worth living for.

Learn to laugh in stressful situations, even if something is serious, no one can stop you from greeting it with a smile, ever heard of “Laughing in the face of danger”? Warm milk is a great helper in stressful situations, if you’re lactose intolerant, warm juice will do nicely.

Go to bed early! You need the strength to face the next day. If you’re suffering from diarrhea, eat porridge. Decrease your caffeine and alcohol intake if you’re into them to lessen the nervousness. But most of all, all you need is people who care for you, understand you and love you. You just need people to cheer you up. You have to unwind, you do not live to work, you work to live, you do not eat to work, you work to eat, and sometimes you just need a positive attitude.

Do you want to know if a person truly loves you? Tell Her/Him You Have AIDS

Yes, you’ve read the title correctly, if you want to know how much a person loves you, tell her/him you have AIDS. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome is one of the most dreaded diseases of the century. It is because once you have it, it progresses rapidly and you are open to all types of infections because your immune system is compromised.

One marked manifestation of AIDS is just by a person’s physique or physical appearance. If the person grows thinner and thinner every day, without any underlying reason, then 99%, he or she has AIDS. So if a person is fat and does not have any unexplained weight loses, then rest assured he or she has NO AIDS. But of course serological blood tests will confirm the diagnosis.

If you have told the person who claims to love you, that you have AIDS and the person still wants to spend an overnight time with you, then it is an indication that he /she truly cares for you...loves you enough to listen to all your ramblings within a 24 hour-period. (Overnight does not mean sex per se, it means spending the precious 24-hours sharing and strengthening your bonds and just being together.)

So next time a person claims to love you, tell him/her you have AIDS and watch for her/his reaction, It classifies those who truly care for you.

Rey Rombawa Jr.'s Video, iBlog7 Manila: The Blogger and the Singer

I am a fan of Rey Rombawa Jr. the singer and yes, I have to admit, the blogger too. He has a powerful, deep timbered voice worthy to sing "The Warrior is a Child."

Rey sang in the recently concluded iBlog 7 and he has an ongoing sore throat but listen to his voice. That was a spectacular performance. It gave me the goose bumps. And, mind you, he writes flawlessly too. If you graduated from the top university in the country, UP, then what would you expect but an IQ above average, incredible wit, flawless English and superb talent. Mabuhay ka Rey! I hope someday, you’ll be able to sing my song. Hopefully, not at my funeral….LOL…really.

Tips in Preparing Multiple Type Questions for College Students

If you have problems in preparing multiple type questions, read on. The multiple types of questions or simply called multiple choice is the most common method of examination for college students. You can test all the cognitive skills of students through these questions. Problem solving, simple recall, enumeration, and case analysis could be answered making use of multiple type questions.  Here are some pointers in preparing them:

1.      Construct grammatically correct sentences.  Poor grammar would confuse the students.

2.      Questions should be clear and not ambiguous. Brief but concise sentences are good. How to prepare them is a skill that you will acquire through experience. An example is asking:  ”The following are good in dissecting, except:” Be specific, ask instead: “The following procedures are good in dissecting a frog, except:”

3.      The longer data are preferable as questions. The shorter ones are the choices.

4.      Arrange the choices with the shortest sentence or phrase as the first choice and

What is the secret to marrying the man of your dreams? Is it possible for every girl to marry the man of her dreams? Read on.

He comes in his shining armor and sweeps you off your feet. You are breathless and ecstatic. Then you woke up. You realize that THAT kind of man is the man of your dreams. You vow to look for him up to the ends of the earth - THE MAN OF YOUR DREAMS!

Who wouldn't want to marry the "man of her dreams?" Surely, you would want to. But oftentimes, this does not happen as the "man of your dreams" is based on a character who is perfect in every way. You shape him based on your perception of what is ideal and of what makes up a good husband.

These unrealistic expectations; however, would lead to frustrations and heartaches as you would eventually come to realize that no one is perfect. You end up marrying not the "man of your dreams" but someone else who would come nearest to the mark that you have set. What is the secret to marrying the man of your dreams?

Take the case of Elisa. She had a dream (just like you did) that one day her knight in shining armor would come and whisk dher away from the humdrum of daily life.

In her mind her dream man was tall, dark and handsome; a man who has a good sense of humor; who could outwit anyone in debates and who would be sweet and thoughtful. This was a perfect picture; Indeed, someone came along, he was tall dark and handsome, had an IQ above average, but sadly, he had no sense of humor.

Elisa decided he did not meet her criteria so she moved on and went on looking for her dream man. Days passed, months and then years and Elisa met men, who in one way or another had fulfilled some of her criteria, but there was always something that each of them lack. In the end, she remained alone and lonely for no one had come close to meeting the stringent “requirements” she had set.

Amanda on the other hand, had only three criteria in her mind, that the man of her dreams loved her in return and that he should be kind and true.

She was able to marry the man of her dreams and even much more. Her husband loved her to death, was kind and gentle and stayed true to their marriage vows. Not only that, she discovered that her man had a great sense of humor and was intelligent and generous.

What do these two cases tell us? That the criteria you set for your dream man should be based on reality; the reality that no one is perfect. How could you expect someone perfect when you, yourself are not perfect?
Oftentimes they call him a "dream man" precisely, because he could only be a reality in a woman's dream, the elusive perfect man that every woman wished she could marry. And when you have a list of the criteria in your hands and go through life based on those criteria of your dream man, almost always, you would end up frustrated.

This is because men are not "made to order" creations. Each man is unique in his own way and you have to set your standards based on this stark reality. If you set your criteria within this truth then you will end up marrying your dream man.

Love should only be the major basis of marrying a man; and not because of some impossible "dream man" criteria that you have set for him to fulfill. Loving someone makes him your dream man and therefore, you'll end up marrying the man of your dreams.

Would you like to marry the man of your dreams? It is possible, but the secret to marrying the man of your dreams is to stop looking for him.

In preparing for a Table of Specifications in any subject, you must remember that the following pointers to make it more reliable.

1.      Table of Specifications vary from one topic to another. The percentage weight of each topic will be based on the importance of the topic or upon the course requirements, or the academic requirements of the subject.

2.      Remember to categorize your questions into, easy, average and difficult. You can prepare an item analysis every time you conduct an exam, so that you can have a data to base on your future analyses. This is also one basis of your Table of Specifications.

3.      Ensure that students are given enough time to answer per question. Usually an objective question needs 1 minute, while a problem solving can spend from 3 to 5 minutes.  

4.      Take some course in test construction to be able to prepare correct and reliable questions that would effectively measure your students acquired knowledge.
