Shopping for clothes is fun but sometimes, it can be a tedious task, especially for women. Women have the propensity to be choosy and be more stylish in terms of clothing, while men have usually very simple tastes. Children on the other hand can be cute when theydress up for special occassions.
I usually shop during evenings because of the humid weather which is typical of a tropical country like ours. But shopping nowadays has a different connotation. In Australia and all over the world, shopping for clothing- whether it be for men, women, or children - is a lot easier due to online shopping stores. This is how you can shop smartly. Looking out for sales in department stores is one way of buying at discounted prices. You could save a lot and spend the money on more important things instead.
Manage your time by shopping all at once. Don’t buy clothes like you were paying for them on installment basis.
Shopping onlineis a practical and convenient way of doing it. You choose from a wide variety of colors, sizes and styles, through the assistance of online guides who would help you out in the selection process. Clothing for men, women and children could be ordered online.
You may also be able to buy those items that you’ve been dreaming of - but could not - because of time constraint. Now is the chance, to shop online and you ‘ll realize that you could save time and money simultaneously.
When I first started blogging, one of my intentions was to earn money online. I have read so many online articles advertising this notion. I was disappointed; however, when after three months, I still had no tangible income. All the ad review sites had rejected my blog application.
I decided then to forget about earning money online and concentrated instead on writing for my blogs.
Writing has always been a great love for me so I wrote several topics in my field of interests and had updated my blogs weekly.
I enlisted my blogs in search engines and in several ranking sites to maximize their exposure. I joined blogging communities and tried all possible means to make my blogs known. I wanted people to read what I wrote.
At first, I could not access my blogs from any search engine, but as days passed, slowly trickles of articles are being displayed in search engines. As my viewership increased my Google page rank appeared and that was the start of my earnings on line. Ad review sites started approving my blog applications.
Here are some strategies that you could use to earn money online:
1. Create a blog.
There are many sites that provide the creation of blogs for free. Create one and maintain it regularly by posting interesting articles. Photo by Nikes
As mentioned above, add your blogs to all search engines like Google, yahoo, and msn. Enlist your blogs in various ranking sites like Blogtoplist,Alexa ranking,Blog Topsites, etc; this is to advertise your blogs.
Utilize all available gadgets in the internet to maximize your exposure to internet users. You can become a member of blogging communities like Entrecard,MyblogLog,Social Sparks, and many more.
Every three months or so, Google will be ranking your blog. If you had done well in the above-mentioned areas, you'll be assigned a page rank. As your readership increases, your ranking increases too.
It is your content however, that would let your readers come back for more. Content is King, so be sure to write eye-catching titles and informative articles.
2. Apply your blog for sites which pay for reviews.
After you have gained your Google page rank, you can now apply for the pay per post or paid reviews features.
These sites namely: blogvertise, sponsored reviews, review me and many others would usually pay $ 10 to $ 50 for every review published in your blogs.
You could earn a good income from these sites. Be sure however that your ranking would not go down as Google will decrease your rank if you do not maintain the proper ratio of paid to unpaid posts, which is usually 1:3.
If your blog loses its rank, advertisers for paid reviews would not select your blog to advertise on, for the simple reason that no one will get to read your reviews.
3. Write for writing sites.
This is one good source of making money online. You just have to be dedicated, disciplined and be hardworking in your quest as a writer.
Do not get discouraged if at first you don't earn good money. You have to write a lot of articles before you could really earn from their daily views. But remember, these are investments which could last a lifetime.
Examples of these writing sites are Helium,Triond,Associated Content, and many more. Helium has a lot of venues for earning money, like the marketplace, rewardathons, the writing contests, citizen's contests and upfront payments for articles as long as you maintain one star. I have earned good money from Helium for the 4 months that I have joined this site.
These sites are all free. If a site asks you to pay for some fees, then don't join; they should be the one paying you for your articles, and not you paying them.
While you're writing for these sites, this will also improve your writing skills.
You learn as you write, and write as you learn; to top these all, you earn at the same time. What could be better than that?
4. Allow direct advertisers in your blogs.
There are several sites that you could apply your blog to. Adsense, Adjitize are some of them. You have to do some research to determine which among them suits you the most.
Beware of scam sites, however. I have not yet reached payout with adsense but I have read several testimonies of users being paid by them.
5. Join Pay per click (PPC) and Pay to click (PTC) sites.
This is where most scam sites are found. Before you join, surf in the internet about personal experiences with these sites. If there are many complaints about the site, then don't join. One red light for you to disregard the site is when they ask for payment upon registration and anytime during the membership. I don't recommend any of these sites, as I did not receive yet any payouts from them. I stopped using them two months ago.
6. Join paid forums
These are forums on line in which you post questions/discussions that other forum members could reply to. You are then paid on the quality and quantity of your responses, the discussions that you post, and from the pictures that you have uploaded.
Active participation is needed. An example of this site is MyLot forum. I recommend this site as I have proven already that it really pays its members. I have been paid thrice from this site within the 4 months that I had joined them.
For other legitimate forum sites, surf in the Internet for users' testimonies. Research well, as there are sites which pay late, and there are several scam sites.
There are still several strategies to earn money online. Open your ears and eyes to all these legitimate opportunities. Be wary of scam sites, though. Be persistent and dedicated in any money-making sites that you have decided to join and you'll be earning good money in no time at all.

If animals have rights, then more so with people going to the hospital for treatment. However, some people do not know about these rights because of misinformation. Below are these basic patient rights in condensed form as endorsed by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)
The Patient's Bill of Rights are now being adopted by many hospitals internationally.
PATIENT'S BILL OF RIGHTS:
The patient has the right to:
1. Impartial access to treatment or accommodations that are available or medically indicated, regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, or sources of payment for care.
2. Considerate, respectful care.
3. Confidentiality of all communications and other records pertaining to the patient's care.
4. Expect that any discussion or consultation involving the patient's case will be conducted discreetly and that individuals not directly involved in the case will not be present without patient permission.
5. Expect reasonable safety congruent with the hospital practices and environment.
6. Know the identity and professional status of individuals providing service and to know which physician or other practitioner is primarily responsible for his or her care.
7. Obtain from the practitioner complete and current information about diagnosis, treatment, and any known prognosis, in terms the patient can reasonably be expected to understand.
8. Reasonable informed participation in decisions involving the patient's health care. The patient shall be informed if the hospital proposes to engage in or perform human experimentation or other research/educational profits affecting his or her care or treatment. The patient has the right to refuse participation in such activity.
9. Consult a specialist at the patient's own request and expense.
10. Refuse treatment to the extent permitted by law. 11. Regardless of the source of payment, request and receive an itemized and detailed explanation of the total bill for services rendered in the hospital.
12. Be informed of the hospital rules and regulations regarding patient conduct
These rights are not to be abused however, there will always be an extraordinary case wherein one has to forgo them for some valid reasons.
The past week has been a commemoration of the death and crucifixion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Philippines being a predominantly Catholic country observes this Holy Week with religious rites and events occurring from Monday to Sunday. From Palm Sunday, to The Seven Last Words, to the Stations of the Cross, then to Easter Sunday.
Here in Pampanga, some devotees allow themselves to be flogged and crucified to the cross in reparation for their sins. I don’t question this practice as I believe that each individual has to find his personal relationship with His God. But I won’t be concentrating on this because the real meaning of Lent for me is REDEMPTION AND HOPE!
Everyone is given the second chance to redeem himself and change for the better. I would like to share this anecdote with you.
Two men – Frank and Dave - were on their way home. They trudged wearily after a hard day’s work. Along the way they encountered a drunken man who was swaying dangerously on the sidewalk.
Frank just walked past him, but Dave stopped.
“Do you need help?“ he queried with concern.
“Why bother with an irresponsible bum, who does not know when to stop drinking?” Frank sneered.
Dave ignored the comment and steadied the swaying drunk. “Here, let me bring you home. What’s your address?”
The drunken man mumbled an address, and as Frank left the two, Dave brought the disoriented man home.
The house was ablaze with funeral lights. Three little children were chorusing in ululating cries of grief. The mother has just died, and the man Dave brought home, was grieving. The relatives were deeply grateful for the unexpected help from him.
A whole week had passed after that incident when there was a knock on Dave’s door. It was the drunken man he had helped.
“I came here to thank you for giving me the second chance to be with my family.” There was a twinkle of hope in his eyes. “I was about to do the unthinkable, but you had saved me.”
Sometimes in our lives, we render negative judgment very quickly. We would think that if we were in that particular circumstance, we would have acted valiantly and courageously, but we can never say this because we have not been there. It is only when we experienced similar situations that we understand why people do certain things.
If we want more meaning in our lives, then we have to live, not only for ourselves but for others as well. Understanding people and lending a helping hand whenever we can, can make a difference in this world.
And even if you don’t believe in the Divine presence and in what Holy Week stands for, science will always find a way to bring back to you, what you have given out. The law of nature is to create balance. What you give out is what you get in return. That is the law of “karma’.
Do you believe in karma too?
Whatever you believe in, allow me to greet you a HAPPY EASTER!
I got a tag from Allena- author of the blogs- In the Eyes of the Beholder and I'm Walking on Sunshine. I have stopped participating in tags, but since it's her birthday, I couldn't say no, so here are my ten wishes as required by the tag.
When I was younger, I remember relatives going on a hunting spree for the rumored lost gold of the Marcoses. There were also stories about the Yamashita treasures buried in secret hiding places. This desire to find the lost gold bars was all the more intensified when the golden buddha was found. Many people donned their hunting clothes and journeyed to look for the rest of the treasures. It was believed there were still tons and tons of buried gold left by the Japanese retreating forces during the second world war.
Gold is a rare and precious metal, and it is through the possession of this, that a country's “value” is determined. The more gold-the better.
In this dire economic times, people prefer to sell gold and buy gold, to ascertain that they have something more valuable than money. Money is useless if there is no gold to back it up.
Gold made easyallows you to sell and buy gold. A guideline is also provided so that you can be an owner of gold coins, gold bullions, nuggets , leafs or silver rounds for real. Don’t miss out on this chance!

The sexual act is the consummation of a marriage. In some countries, couples who are not able to fulfill this personal intimate act could file for divorce on the grounds of sexual incapacity. Back in Taloctoc, Kalinga where I used to live, couples separated and married again if they were not able to sire a child. It is evident that in some cultures, having children too is one of the crucial factors for a successful marriage.
Children; however, should only be brought into this world when parents are able to provide for their needs. Lots of abandoned street children would attest to the fact that raising children has never been an easy job. The most important phase of children’s growth is their first 2 years as a toddler.
There are several things to consider, food, clothing and most importantly exuding to the child your parental love. You want to give the best daily careto your babies and toddlers. For clothing you should choose those that are warm and comfortable. For girls’ clothinghere are various styles you can choose from. Clothing and food is not the only thing you should be concerned of. Proper daily hygiene should also be observed together with proper feeding utensils and good playing materials. Their nursery equipmentshould be safe and sound.
All in all, ensuring your baby’s safety and health should be your primary consideration, coupled of course with your tender, loving care.
The first question that comes to your mind is: Do we have to do something when we obviously love each other?" Wouldn't that be sufficient to make our marriage exciting and alive?" True enough, but even lasting, eternal love needs constant nurturing and care. The glaring fact remains that, much as couples love each other, the only constant thing in this world is change. People grow physically, emotionally and psychologically.
In the process of "growing up", you may grow apart or grow closer. It is therefore, your responsibility as couples, to ensure that your marriage remains exciting and alive by doing activities that draw you closer together and not the other way around. These activities are really very simple ones.
Here are some pointers on how to keep your marriage exciting and alive:
1. Talk to each other.
Express your thoughts and feelings to your partner. Be open with what you want without disrespecting the other. Communication is still one of the major routes of true understanding.
Talk about your day to each other; the significant and the trivial parts, what made you smile, laugh, etc. When you genuinely talk to each other the relationship becomes more exciting.
Imagine not being able to tell your partner how good he/she makes you feel when you're making love, wouldn't that be a torture?
2. Do simple little things that would make him/her feel special.
The quotation "Simple little things mean a lot" is never outdated. Leave a note tucked in your spouse's desk organizer telling him how much you love him. For husbands, give a rose to your wives on ordinary days. Bring home some gifts from her favorite bookstore.
3. Spend some time alone without any distraction.
Book a ticket for two to Paris, or if finances are low, then drive to the next town. Just be somewhere else that there would only be the two of you. Bring the children to their grandmother if needed, or hire a nanny. What is important is for you to spend time together.
If your work does not allow this, then do it at least once a week, or once a month, go out for a dinner date, swimming activity or spend an overnight stay in a local romantic hotel.
Capture the mood and ambiance that made you fall in love with each other. 4. Spring some surprises.
If you haven't worn a sexy negligee before, then wear one and flaunt your assets to him. Prepare and unexpected dinner by candlelight when he comes home. Wear his favorite perfume.
For husbands, you could come home with a bottle of champagne for some night bonding. You could think of many more surprises based on your wives likes and hobbies.
5. Be innovative in making love.
Making love is an art. Read books and watch movies together to add spice to your love making. It is always exciting to try the new position you have watched on DVD. Don't be shy to tell your spouse of what you prefer to do and what arouses and satisfies you.
Enjoying and deriving sensual pleasure from making love is a must for married couples. You must be certain that both of you are satisfied and satiated afterwards.
The moment after the act itself is even more crucial. Women want to be cuddled and embraced most especially after the act. Turning your back on your wives and snoring off to sleep is a demonstration of your insensitivity and callousness. This will make your wives feel used. Love her by being gentle and sweet even after the making love.
For wives, be expressive of your desire to be cuddled and pampered afterwards. Tell your husbands what you specifically desire. They are not mind-readers; tell them what you want done: "Could you put your arms around me until we've fallen asleep?"
6. Do activities together.
Wouldn't it be exciting to have your husband dancing with you in a friend's party? Or your wife watching with you outdoors in one of your favorite football games? Household chores could also be shared. They are much more fun when you turn them into happy chores. Doing activities together strengthens the bonds of belongingness and love.
Even child birth activities should be participated in by husbands. This would create a firm, meaningful bond between wife, husband and child. 7. Bring out the child-like trait in you.
This means being creative, insouciant, carefree, jolly, and having an unyielding belief that you could conquer whatever challenges that would assail your married life. This will bring a lilt to your steps, a smile in your face and a zest to your relationship.
Play and be happy. Humor will always diffuse a humdrum existence. The daily problems that would come to you may dampen your spirit and knock the joy out of you, but being jovial and positive about things would perk up your marriage.
You're the best judge on what would make your marriage exciting and alive. Be creative and devise ways to have excitement and joy with your partner.
